What the dual-frequency output means for your BOM
The DSC6023MI2B-01TPT: That replaces two discrete crystal oscillators on a board where every mm² of PCB real estate is allocated. Both outputs are CMOS, so they drive logic inputs directly without external level translation.
At 48 MHz output, that is roughly 27 µA/MHz — low enough that a battery-powered sensor node reading a 24 MHz RTC tick and waking a 48 MHz processor does not drain the cell during idle periods.
Package footprint and assembly note
The land pattern is a standard 4-pad LGA with a centre thermal pad; the datasheet recommends a 0.30 mm stencil aperture for the pads and a 0.50 mm aperture for the centre pad to avoid solder voids.
