Dual-frequency MEMS XO in a 2.0×1.6 mm footprint
The DSC6021MI2B-01UA: The dual-frequency output lets a single oscillator clock two clock domains — for example, a 24 MHz MCU core and a 48 MHz USB or Ethernet PHY — without a second crystal or an external PLL.
Frequency stability is held to ±25 ppm across that temperature band, so the clock accuracy is tight enough for UART baud-rate generation and basic USB full-speed timing without a separate temperature-compensated reference.
Power budget and output drive
Typical current draw is 1.3 mA maximum — low enough to run directly from a coin-cell-backed RTC supply or a small LDO in a battery-powered sensor node. The CMOS output swings rail-to-rail and drives standard logic inputs directly; no external termination or bias network is needed for a 1–2 cm PCB trace to the load.
