MEMS oscillator with automotive-grade reliability
The DSC6013CI2A-000.0000T: The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz-crystal supply chain — no crystal blank sourcing, no start-up time, and no frequency pulling from board-level capacitance.
Power budget and standby behaviour
Active current draw is 1.3 mA typical — low enough that the oscillator's share of the board power budget is negligible in a 24/7 automotive module. The standby function drops consumption to 12 µA maximum when the enable pin is pulled low, preserving battery in key-off or sleep states. The wide range also absorbs dips from a cranking battery or a cold-crank transient.
Package, footprint, and reflow
The land pattern matches industry-standard 4-pad layouts; no footprint change needed if swapping between DSC60XX variants. Surface-mount assembly with tape-and-reel packaging (the 'T' suffix) supports high-volume pick-and-place. The MEMS die is hermetically sealed at the wafer level, so moisture sensitivity is typically MSL 1 — no bake required before reflow, even after extended shelf storage.
Lifecycle reality — obsolete, sourced per RFQ
