Supply range and power budget
The DSC6011MI2B-027.0000: Active current draw is 1.3 mA typical; in standby (power-down mode) the supply current drops to 1.5 µA typical, which is below the self-discharge leakage of a typical coin-cell-backed RTC — the oscillator can be left powered on a battery line without draining it during sleep. The standby function (Power Down) disables the output and stops the MEMS resonator — the recovery time from standby to stable output is typically 5 ms, so the part can be gated off between CAN bus wake-up cycles without losing synchronization.
The 4-VFLGA package has four pads: VDD, GND, OUT, and OE/STANDBY. The 2.00mm x 1.60mm footprint is compatible with standard 4-pin LGA land patterns — the PCB layout should match the pad dimensions in the Microchip recommended footprint drawing, not a generic 2.5mm x 2.0mm SMD pattern. Seated height of 0.89mm (max) keeps the component profile low enough for 1.0mm-thick mezzanine spacings in stacked-board designs.
