AEC-Q100 qualification and temperature grade
The DSC6011MI2B-016.0000: Capable is not qualified: the OEM auditor will ask for the PPAP documentation that confirms the specific AEC-Q100 grade letter and the stress-test data (pre- and post-cond, HAST, temperature cycle). The MEMS resonator itself does not drift with age the way a quartz crystal can, making the AEC-Q100 qualification more about the ASIC and package reliability than the resonator element.
Power budget and standby behaviour
Drawing 1.3 mA typ in active mode and 1.5 µA typ in standby (disable), this oscillator is a fit for battery-backed or always-on modules where the clock must keep time but the main rail can be gated off. The standby function is a dedicated pin — the part powers down the output buffer and the PLL, leaving only the MEMS sense circuitry alive.
Package footprint and reflow profile
No exposed thermal pad; the package relies on the PCB copper pour under the body for heat spreading.
