MEMS XO for low-speed clock domains
The DSC6011JE1B-003.5800T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC60XXB series, delivering a fixed 3.58 MHz CMOS output. The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz-crystal start-up time and shock sensitivity — useful when the clock must be stable immediately after power-on, such as for a UART boot loader or a low-speed MCU peripheral clock.
The wide supply range of 1.71V to 3.63V lets this oscillator run directly off a 1.8V or 3.3V rail without an intermediate LDO — one less component on the BOM.
The 4-VLGA package measures 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm, fitting tight PCB stacks in portable or space-constrained designs.
Microchip lists the DSC6011JE1B-003.5800T as Active. No last-time-buy or end-of-life notice has been issued. The part can be designed in today without a forced migration window.
