Automotive-grade MEMS clock for ECU timing
The DSC6011HI2B-016.0000 is a 16 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC60XXB series, qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications. Its CMOS output and ±25 ppm frequency stability make it a direct-fit clock source for engine-control, body, and chassis ECUs that need a clean 16 MHz reference without external tuning.
Wide supply range and low-power standby
Compact 4-VFLGA footprint for space-constrained boards
Housed in a 4-VFLGA package measuring 1.60 mm x 1.20 mm x 0.89 mm (seated height), the DSC6011HI2B-016.0000 fits dense automotive PCBs where a standard 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm crystal oscillator would crowd the layout. The surface-mount package is pick-and-place friendly, but check the MSL rating before reflow — a bake cycle may be needed if the part sat past its floor life.
For new designs, this part is suitable; no pin-compatible second source is documented in the series.
