Automotive-grade MEMS clock source
The DSC6011HI2B-005.0000 is an AEC-Q100 qualified MEMS-based XO delivering a 5 MHz CMOS clock output across the full -40 to +85 °C temperature range — suitable for under-hood and cabin automotive modules where a quartz crystal would require additional screening or a separate can.
Housed in a 4-pad VFLGA measuring 1.60 mm x 1.20 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm, this oscillator fits space-constrained PCBs — the 0.50 mm pitch LGA footprint requires careful fan-out but saves board area compared to a larger SMD crystal.
Power profile and standby function
Typical active current is 1.3 mA at 5 MHz, and the standby (power-down) mode drops supply draw to 1.5 µA typ — the part can be gated off in a battery-backed automotive ECU when the module is asleep, preserving the battery reserve.
