16.384 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 grade
The DSC6003JI2A-016.3840T is a MEMS-based oscillator from Microchip's DSC60XX series, delivering a 16.384 MHz CMOS clock from a surface-mount 4-SMD package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm. Rated for -40°C to 85°C with ±25 ppm frequency stability, it draws a typical 1.3 mA from a supply range of 1.71 V to 3.63 V. The Enable/Disable function allows the output to be tri-stated for power savings or shared-clock bus control.
AEC-Q100 qualification and automotive fit
AEC-Q100 rated — this oscillator is qualified for automotive stress and reliability requirements, suitable for under-hood or cabin electronics where temperature cycling and vibration are factors. The MEMS base resonator provides inherent shock and vibration tolerance compared to quartz, which is a practical advantage in engine-bay and chassis-mount applications.
For existing BOM lines, the DSC6003JI2A-016.3840T is available through independent surplus channels; quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ. A pin-compatible functional replacement from the same DSC60XX family may exist — confirm the frequency, stability, and enable logic against the current Microchip portfolio before a board spin.
