20 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC6003JI1A-020.0000 is a 20 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC60XX family, delivering a CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across the full -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range. Rated AEC-Q100, this oscillator is qualified for automotive environments — the MEMS die and CMOS ASIC are screened to the same reliability stress and temperature cycling as automotive ICs. Supply voltage spans 1.71V to 3.63V, covering 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without a separate regulator — a single part serves mixed-voltage designs.
MEMS resonator eliminates quartz and load capacitors
The base resonator is MEMS, not quartz — no external load capacitors are required, and the oscillator is immune to the vibration and shock sensitivity that can pull a crystal frequency. The Enable/Disable function lets the system gate the clock output, dropping the supply current to near-zero when the peripheral is idle — useful for power-sequenced automotive modules. Package is a 4-SMD no-lead (2.50mm x 2.00mm x 0.89mm) — the same footprint as standard quartz oscillators, so a board designed for a 2.5 x 2.0 mm XO accepts this MEMS part without layout changes.
Available through independent surplus distribution; quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ.
