32.768 kHz MEMS oscillator for automotive timing
The DSC6001MI3B-032K768 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a fixed 32.768 kHz CMOS output — the real-time clock frequency used in automotive ECUs, infotainment head units, and body controllers. Its ±20 ppm frequency stability holds the RTC drift to under one minute per year across the -40°C to +85°C industrial-automotive temperature range.
AEC-Q100 qualification and supply voltage flexibility
Rated AEC-Q100, this oscillator is qualified for automotive stress and reliability requirements — suitable for under-hood and cabin electronics where a standard quartz crystal would fail vibration or thermal cycle testing. The 1.71V to 3.63V supply range lets it run directly from a 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V rail without an intermediate LDO.
Active lifecycle — design-in ready
It is a current production part suitable for new designs and volume builds.
4-VFLGA package — board layout note
Housed in a 4-VFLGA package measuring 2.00 mm x 1.60 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm. The 0.50 mm pitch LGA footprint requires a solder-paste stencil aperture matched to the land pattern — the datasheet's recommended layout includes a thermal pad that should be tied to the ground plane for best jitter performance.
