9 MHz MEMS clock with AEC-Q100 grade – why the temp band matters
The DSC6001ME2B-009.0000T is a 9 MHz XO (Standard) built on a MEMS resonator, outputting a CMOS-level clock from a 1.8 V to 3.3 V supply rail. The -20°C to +70°C operating range limits this variant to commercial/infotainment zones; if your BOM calls for -40°C or +105°C, you need the extended-temp suffix in the DSC60XXB family.
This part carries AEC-Q100 qualification, which means the MEMS die and package have passed the full automotive stress suite: high-temperature operating life, temperature cycling, ESD, and latch-up. For an OEM auditor reviewing PPAP documentation, that grade is the gate – capable is not qualified. The 4-VFLGA package measures 2.00 mm x 1.60 mm x 0.89 mm, so the board footprint and reflow profile match standard MEMS oscillator land patterns.
