25 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC6001JL3B-025.0000T is a 25 MHz MEMS-based oscillator from Microchip's DSC60XXB series, delivering a CMOS output with ±20 ppm frequency stability across the full -40°C to 105°C range. Rated AEC-Q100, this part is qualified for automotive-grade applications — the MEMS resonator and CMOS driver are tested to the same reliability stress and temperature cycling as any under-hood IC. Housed in a 4-VLGA package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm, it fits tight PCB layouts common in ADAS modules, telematics, and infotainment clusters.
Supply range and power budget
The 1.71V to 3.63V supply range lets it run directly from a 1.8V or 3.3V rail without an intermediate regulator — a single 1.8V supply for the oscillator and the core logic simplifies the power tree. Typical supply current is 1.3 mA max, keeping the thermal contribution negligible even in a sealed automotive ECU with limited airflow.
Enable/Disable function and tape-and-reel packaging
The Enable/Disable pin allows the output to be tri-stated for system-level power gating or test mode — useful when the clock must be silenced during boundary scan or low-power sleep. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) format, it is ready for automated pick-and-place assembly in volume production.
