MEMS oscillator for automotive and industrial clocking
The DSC6001JI2B-012.2880T is a MEMS-based XO from Microchip's DSC60XXB series, delivering a 12.288 MHz CMOS output with ±25 ppm frequency stability. Its AEC-Q100 qualification makes it suitable for under-hood and cabin electronics where temperature swings and vibration are routine. Operating from 1.71V to 3.63V, it covers common logic rails without an external regulator. The enable/disable function lets the system shut down the oscillator for low-power sleep modes.
Housed in a 4-VLGA package measuring 2.50mm x 2.00mm with a seated height of 0.89mm, this oscillator fits tight PCB real estate. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles; no special handling beyond MSL precautions. The 1.3 mA typical supply current keeps the thermal footprint low, so adjacent components aren't heated during operation.
