MEMS oscillator for automotive timing chains
DSC6001JI2A-019.2000 is a MEMS-based XO producing a 19.2 MHz CMOS clock from a 1.71 V to 3.63 V supply rail – it runs off 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V without a separate regulator. The Enable/Disable function lets the system gate the clock for power savings; the output goes high-Z when disabled.
AEC-Q100 qualification and temperature grade
Rated AEC-Q100 and specified over -40°C to +85°C – this covers the cabin and most under-hood automotive ambient conditions, though the top end is below the 125°C that some engine-bay ECUs require. The MEMS resonator is less sensitive to vibration than a quartz crystal, which helps in automotive and industrial environments where mechanical shock is present.
Microchip has marked this part obsolete. Available through independent surplus distribution in lot-specific quantities. Quoted to order against the BOM quantity – availability confirmed at RFQ.
Package and footprint for layout planning
Housed in a 4-SMD no-lead package measuring 2.50 mm × 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm – a compact footprint that fits tight PCB layouts common in automotive modules. Surface-mount assembly; the no-lead construction means the solder joints are under the package – ensure the stencil aperture and reflow profile match the land pattern recommended in the datasheet.
