AEC-Q100 MEMS oscillator – active production, blank programmable
The part operates from 1.71 V to 3.63 V and delivers a CMOS output across a -40 °C to +85 °C industrial/automotive cabin temperature range. The device ships blank (user must program) — it is not a fixed-frequency oscillator. The buyer or contract manufacturer must program the desired frequency (1 MHz to 80 MHz range) before assembly. This adds a programming step to the BOM flow but gives flexibility to use one part number across multiple frequency variants in the same package.
Enable/Disable function and low-power disable current
For battery-backed or intermittently clocked automotive modules, this cuts standby power without a separate load switch.
4-VLGA package – small footprint with ±25 ppm total stability
Housed in a 4-VLGA package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm, the DSC6001JI2A-000.0000 occupies roughly half the board area of a typical 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm quartz oscillator. Total frequency stability is ±25 ppm, which includes temperature, supply voltage, and aging effects. For a CAN bus or Ethernet clock reference, this is adequate margin.
