72 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 automotive grade
This is a 72 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) with CMOS output, part of Microchip's DSC60XX series. The MEMS resonator replaces a quartz crystal, offering better shock and vibration immunity in automotive environments. Rated AEC-Q100, the device operates from -40°C to +85°C with ±25ppm frequency stability — suitable for under-hood or cabin electronics where temperature extremes are routine. Supply voltage spans 1.71V to 3.63V, covering 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without an external regulator. Typical current draw is 1.3 mA max, keeping the thermal budget low in dense boards.
Package and footprint for board layout
Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead package measuring 1.60mm x 1.20mm with a seated height of 0.89mm. The Enable/Disable function allows the output to be tri-stated for power savings or test access.
