Automotive-grade MEMS oscillator at 2.1 MHz
This XO (Standard) MEMS oscillator delivers a fixed 2.1 MHz CMOS output with ±25 ppm frequency stability across the -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range. The AEC-Q100 qualification (Grade 2 implied by the temperature range) makes it suitable for under-hood or cabin automotive modules where quartz oscillators may fail under vibration. Supply voltage spans 1.71V to 3.63V, covering 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without an external regulator. Typical current draw is 1.3 mA max, keeping the thermal budget low in the 4-VFLGA package (1.60 mm x 1.20 mm footprint).
The 4-VFLGA package measures 1.60 mm x 1.20 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm. Surface-mount assembly requires a standard LGA footprint; the small body size means the decoupling capacitor should be placed within 2 mm of the supply pin to minimize supply noise coupling into the output clock. When disabled, the oscillator stops switching, reducing current draw to near-zero — useful for battery-backed or sleep-mode applications.
