The DSC6001HI1B-006.7800 is an active-production MEMS oscillator from Microchip's DSC60XXB series, carrying AEC-Q100 qualification for automotive and industrial temperature grades. It delivers a 6.78 MHz CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across -40°C to +85°C, drawing 1.3 mA typical from a 1.71V to 3.63V supply rail.

Housed in a 4-VFLGA package measuring 1.60 mm x 1.20 mm with a seated height of 0.89 mm, this surface-mount oscillator requires a fine-pitch land pattern — the 0.50 mm pitch and small footprint demand careful stencil design for solder paste volume. The wide supply range (1.71V to 3.63V) spans 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic families, so the same BOM line can serve different voltage domains without a separate regulator for the clock.
