Dual-frequency MEMS clock source for 100 MHz and 156.25 MHz rails
The DSC400-4334Q0023KI2T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC400 series, delivering two independent output frequencies: 100 MHz on Output 1 and 156.25 MHz on Output 2. Both outputs are available as HCSL or LVDS, selectable per output — HCSL is the typical interface for PCIe reference clocks, while LVDS suits general-purpose high-speed clock distribution.
Supply voltage flexibility and enable/disable function
The supply voltage range spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator — a single rail powers both outputs. An Enable/Disable pin allows the outputs to be tri-stated for system-level clock gating or test mode isolation.
20-VFQFN package: footprint and thermal design
The 20-VFQFN Exposed Pad package measures 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a 0.90 mm height — the exposed pad must be soldered to a ground-plane via array to meet the thermal and electrical specifications.
