Product details

Dual-frequency MEMS clock for high-speed serial links

The DSC400-4334Q0023KE1T is a MEMS-based XO (standard) from Microchip's DSC400 series, delivering two fixed output frequencies: 100 MHz on output 1 and 156.25 MHz on output 2. These are common reference clocks for 1 Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe Gen1/2, and 10G Ethernet PHYs — two board-level clock trees from one oscillator. Outputs are configurable as HCSL or LVDS, covering the two dominant differential signalling standards for high-speed serial interfaces.

The wide range means you can share a single regulator with the oscillator and the downstream PHY or FPGA bank. Not rated for outdoor or under-hood environments where extended industrial or automotive temperature ranges would be required.

Housed in a 20-VFQFN exposed pad package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a height of 0.90 mm.

Frequently asked questions

Does DSC400-4334Q0023KE1T have an enable/disable function?

Yes, the enable/disable function is built in. When disabled, the outputs go to a high-impedance state, allowing you to power down the clock tree without removing the supply rail.
