Quad-output LVDS clock source for multi-rail timing
The DSC400-3333Q0094KI2 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that delivers four independent LVDS clock outputs from a single 20-VFQFN package: 125 MHz on output 1, 100 MHz on outputs 2 and 3, and 50 MHz on output 4. This replaces three separate oscillators on the board, saving layout area and reducing BOM line count. Frequency stability is rated at ±25 ppm across the full -40 to +85°C industrial temperature range, which keeps the clock edge jitter within the margin for 1 GbE, PCIe Gen 2, or SATA reference clocks without an external PLL cleanup.
The part operates from a 2.25 V to 3.6 V supply rail, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic families without an additional regulator.
Housed in a 20-VFQFN with exposed pad (5.00 mm x 3.20 mm, 0.90 mm height), the package requires a thermal pad on the PCB for heat sinking. The 0.50 mm pitch QFN demands a 4-layer board for fan-out of the 20 pads; two-layer designs will struggle to route all signals without vias.
Microchip lists the DSC400-3333Q0094KI2 as Active.
