Dual-frequency MEMS XO for broadcast video clocking
The DSC400-3333Q0089KI1 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC400 series, delivering two LVDS clock outputs at 148.35 MHz and 148.5 MHz from a single package. These frequencies align with SMPTE video standards and the 148.35 MHz variant used in certain audio/video synchronisation domains — a single oscillator replaces two discrete XOs on the board.
Supply voltage tolerance and output format
Supply range is 2.25 V to 3.6 V — the oscillator runs from a 2.5 V or 3.3 V rail without an external LDO, and the wide tolerance absorbs rail ripple from a switching regulator upstream. LVDS outputs deliver the clock with a typical 350 mV swing into a 100-Ω differential termination; the differential pair keeps common-mode noise out of the clock tree on a mixed-signal board with digital switching noise.
Package footprint and thermal management
The package measures 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm and stands 0.90 mm off the board — the low profile fits behind a mezzanine card or under a metal shield can.
