Product details

Six-output MEMS clock generator for multi-rail timing

The DSC400-3333Q0016KI1 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that outputs six LVDS clock frequencies from a single 20-VFQFN package: 25 MHz, 50 MHz, 125 MHz, 150 MHz on output 1, and 100 MHz, 156.25 MHz on output 2. It runs on a 2.25V to 3.6V supply, so a single 3.3V rail or a 2.5V rail both work without a secondary regulator — handy when the board already has a 3.3V plane.

Industrial temperature range and package layout

The 20-VFQFN exposed pad (5.00 mm x 3.20 mm body, 0.90 mm height) needs a thermal-via array under the paddle to pull heat into the ground plane — the datasheet's recommended land pattern is the starting point for the layout.

Frequently asked questions

How do I enable or disable the DSC400 oscillator outputs?

The Enable/Disable function is controlled via the OE pin. Pulling it low tri-states the outputs; pulling it high enables them. The exact logic threshold and timing are in the DSC400 datasheet.
