Six-frequency LVDS clock source for multi-rail designs
The DSC400-3333Q0001KE1T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering six LVDS output frequencies: 25 MHz, 50 MHz, 125 MHz, 150 MHz on one bank and 100 MHz, 156.25 MHz on a second bank — a single device replaces up to six discrete oscillators on a board carrying Ethernet, FPGA, and SerDes clocks. Its supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so it runs directly from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an intermediate LDO — a clean power-tree simplification for mixed-voltage systems.
Package and thermal layout for the 20-VFQFN
Housed in a 20-VFQFN with exposed pad (5.00 mm x 3.20 mm, 0.90 mm height), the DSC400-3333Q0001KE1T requires the centre pad to be soldered to a PCB ground plane for both thermal dissipation and a low-impedance return path — a standard via-in-pad or thermal-via array under the pad keeps the junction temperature within the -20°C to 70°C operating range.
