Four LVPECL clocks from one MEMS resonator
The DSC400-2222Q0105KE2T packs four independent LVPECL outputs into a single 20-VFQFN package, generating 200 MHz, 156.25 MHz, 125 MHz, and 100 MHz from a MEMS resonator core. That means one oscillator replaces four cans on the board, saving real estate and reducing the BOM line count for a multi-rail clock tree.
For a 200 MHz LVPECL clock, that jitter budget is tight enough to meet the reference-clock requirements of most 1 GbE PHYs and PCIe Gen 2/3 controllers without an external PLL clean-up.
2.25V–3.6V supply with enable/disable
The wide 2.25V–3.6V supply range lets it run directly off a 2.5V or 3.3V rail — no extra LDO needed.
Microchip lists the DSC400-2222Q0105KE2T as Active. The MEMS resonator construction also avoids the long lead times sometimes associated with quartz crystals.
