MEMS oscillator with four timing outputs
The DSC400-2222Q0022KI1T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC400 series, delivering four LVPECL clock outputs at 125 MHz and 100 MHz — two of each frequency — from a single 20-VFQFN package with an exposed pad for thermal relief.
Operating from 2.25 V to 3.6 V, the oscillator runs on a 3.3 V or 2.5 V rail without an external LDO — the wide supply tolerance covers the tolerance of a typical switching regulator output.
The 20-VFQFN Exposed Pad package measures 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a 0.90 mm height — the exposed paddle must be soldered to a thermal via array on the PCB to pull heat from the MEMS die and keep the frequency stable under load. Supplied in Tape & Reel, the part is compatible with standard pick-and-place and reflow profiles for the VFQFN family — no special handling beyond standard MSL precautions.
No official second-source or pin-compatible cross-reference is listed; the DSC400 series is the only family carrying this quad-output configuration. For a drop-in alternative, confirm the output format (LVPECL) and frequency plan match the BOM position.
