Four-output MEMS clock generator replaces three oscillators
The DSC400-1444Q0060KI2 delivers three 100 MHz HCSL outputs and one 25 MHz LVCMOS output from a single 5.00 mm × 3.20 mm 20-VFQFN package — a timing tree that would otherwise require three separate XOs and a clock buffer fits in one footprint. The MEMS base resonator eliminates quartz crystal startup delays and is inherently more shock-tolerant — relevant for portable instrumentation or equipment that sees vibration during transport.
±25 ppm stability across industrial temperature range
At 100 MHz, that is a maximum frequency error of ±2.5 kHz — tight enough for most PCIe reference clock and Ethernet PHY applications without an external VCXO or PLL. The supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, so the oscillator can run from a 2.5 V or 3.3 V rail without an intermediate regulator — one less component in the power tree.
