Four clocks from one MEMS die – BOM consolidation play
The DSC400-1444Q0060KE1T is a MEMS-based XO that delivers three 100 MHz outputs and one 25 MHz output from a single 5.0 mm × 3.2 mm 20-VFQFN package. That replaces up to four discrete oscillators on the board, cutting placement count and routing congestion. Each output can be independently configured as HCSL or LVCMOS, so the same part feeds a PCIe reference clock and a logic-level system clock without a translator.
With a supply range of 2.25 V to 3.6 V, this oscillator runs directly off a 2.5 V or 3.3 V rail without an intermediate LDO. The wide tolerance also absorbs rail ripple from a switching regulator upstream.
Active production – no lifecycle risk for new builds
The MEMS resonator construction avoids the quartz supply constraints that occasionally hit crystal-based oscillators, giving this part a more predictable lead-time profile.
Package and layout – 20-VFQFN with exposed pad
The 20-VFQFN package measures 5.00 mm × 3.20 mm with a 0.90 mm seated height.
