Quad-output MEMS oscillator — one package, four clock domains
The DSC400-1444Q0052KE1 is a MEMS-based XO that delivers four independent clock outputs from a single 20-VFQFN package measuring 5.00mm x 3.20mm. Three outputs run at 100 MHz and 125 MHz (mixed per output), and the fourth output provides 25 MHz and 125 MHz — covering the common reference frequencies for PCIe, Ethernet, and SoC core clocks without separate oscillators for each rail. Outputs are configurable as HCSL or LVCMOS, so the same part can drive a PCIe reference clock (HCSL) on one lane and a general-purpose FPGA or MCU clock (LVCMOS) on another — no external level translation needed.
The operating supply range is 2.25V to 3.6V, which covers both 2.5V and 3.3V power domains directly. If your board already has a 2.5V FPGA bank and a 3.3V Ethernet PHY, this oscillator runs off either rail — or a shared 3.3V rail — without an intermediate LDO.
Enable/Disable function and active production status
The part includes an Enable/Disable function (pin-controlled), allowing the outputs to be tri-stated for system power-down or test modes without removing power from the oscillator.
