What this MEMS oscillator delivers on your board
The DSC400-1122Q0036KI1 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip, packing four independent output frequencies — 100MHz, 156.25MHz, 25MHz, and 50MHz — into a single 20-VFQFN package with an exposed pad. It saves board space and BOM count compared to using four separate oscillators.
Temperature range and industrial fit
Frequency stability of ±50ppm over that range means the clock edges stay within tight bounds for a 100MHz SERDES reference or a 156.25MHz Ethernet PHY — no need for an external temperature-compensation loop.
Supply voltage and output flexibility
The supply range spans 2.25V to 3.6V, covering common 2.5V and 3.3V rails without a separate regulator. Outputs can be configured as LVCMOS or LVPECL, so the same part serves both a low-power FPGA bank and a high-speed clock distribution tree.
