Four-output MEMS clock in a 5×3.2 mm QFN
The DSC400-1111Q0095KI2T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that delivers four independent LVCMOS clock outputs from a single 20-VFQFN package measuring 5.00 mm × 3.20 mm. Two outputs run at 25 MHz and two at 24 MHz, covering common processor and peripheral bus frequencies without a separate PLL or fanout buffer. The Enable/Disable function lets firmware gate unused outputs, trimming the overall power draw when a clock tree branch is idle.
±25 ppm stability across -40 to 85°C
For a 25 MHz carrier, that is a maximum deviation of 625 Hz — tight enough for 10/100 Ethernet MAC reference clocks and USB full-speed timing without external trimming. The supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, so the same BOM line can feed a 2.5 V FPGA bank or a 3.3 V microcontroller without a separate level translator on the clock input.
Microchip lists the DSC400-1111Q0095KI2T as Active. The base product number DSC400 covers a family of pre-programmed frequency combinations — if the output mix changes on a future board spin, a different suffix within the same package and footprint avoids a layout change.
