Four clocks in one MEMS XO package
The DSC400-1111Q0084KE1T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that outputs four independent LVCMOS clock frequencies: 33.3333 MHz, 50 MHz, 125 MHz, and 100 MHz — a single component replacing up to four discrete oscillators on a timing tree. Frequency stability is ±50 ppm across the -20 to 70°C industrial temperature range, sufficient for most 1 GbE, PCIe Gen 1/2, and FPGA reference clock jitter budgets. The 20-VFQFN exposed-pad package (5.00 x 3.20 mm, 0.90 mm height) requires a thermal via array under the pad for proper heat sinking — the MEMS die and output drivers dissipate through the exposed metal, so the board layout directly affects long-term frequency accuracy.
Supply voltage and enable flexibility
Operates from a single 2.25 V to 3.6 V supply, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator — the wide input tolerance simplifies power-tree design when the oscillator shares a rail with the FPGA or ASIC bank.
New designs can proceed without a last-time-buy contingency.
