Three 100 MHz HCSL outputs from a single MEMS die
The DSC400-0444Q0009KE2T delivers three 100 MHz HCSL outputs from a single MEMS resonator, eliminating the need for multiple oscillators or a separate fanout buffer in PCIe clock trees or high-speed serial links. HCSL (High-Speed Current Steering Logic) is the standard output format for PCIe reference clocks, so this part drops directly into a PCIe Gen1/2/3 clock distribution without level translation.
Frequency stability and temperature range
Rated ±25 ppm frequency stability over the -20°C to 70°C operating range keeps the output within the ±300 ppm PCIe Gen3 total jitter budget, with margin for supply noise and PCB variation. The commercial temperature grade suits indoor networking equipment, servers, and test gear where ambient stays below 70°C.
Supply voltage and power integration
The 2.25 V to 3.6 V supply range covers both 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without an external LDO, simplifying power tree design and reducing BOM count.
Housed in a 20-VFQFN with exposed pad, 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm footprint. The 0.90 mm height fits 1U rack-mount card spacing and low-profile mezzanine assemblies.
Supplied in tape-and-reel (TR) for automated pick-and-place assembly.
