Dual-frequency LVDS MEMS oscillator for video-timing rails
The DSC400-0303Q0086KE1 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC400 series, delivering two independent LVDS output frequencies: 148.5 MHz and 148.35 MHz. These frequencies align with broadcast video standards — 148.5 MHz is the pixel clock for 1080p at 60 Hz, and 148.35 MHz covers the 59.94 Hz variant.
Runs on a 2.25V to 3.6V supply rail — compatible with 2.5V and 3.3V logic domains without an external regulator.
Housed in a 20-VFQFN with exposed pad (5.00 mm × 3.20 mm, 0.90 mm height). The 0.50 mm pitch QFN demands a solder-paste stencil aperture that matches the datasheet footprint; a via-in-pad pattern under the pad improves thermal transfer but requires tenting on the opposite side to prevent solder wicking.
