Dual LVPECL clock source for high-speed SerDes
The DSC400-0202Q0108KI2 is a MEMS-based XO that delivers two independent LVPECL output frequencies: 167.1875 MHz and 173.28125 MHz from a single 20-VFQFN package. This eliminates a separate oscillator for each clock domain in FPGA or SerDes reference trees. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so the same part works across 2.5V and 3.3V rails without a level translator on the output.
±25 ppm stability over industrial temperature
For a 167.1875 MHz carrier, that is roughly ±4.2 kHz of total drift — tight enough for most 10GbE and PCIe Gen3 reference clocks without external VCXO tuning.
Active lifecycle, no end-of-life pressure
Microchip lists the DSC400-0202Q0108KI2 as Active. No pin-compatible second source is documented; the DSC400 family is the only drop-in path.
20-VFQFN exposed-pad layout note
The 20-VFQFN Exposed Pad package measures 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a 0.90 mm seated height.
