MEMS oscillator with dual LVPECL clock outputs
The DSC400-0202Q0108KE2T is a MEMS-based XO (standard oscillator) from Microchip's DSC400 series, delivering two independent LVPECL outputs at 167.1875 MHz and 173.28125 MHz from a single 20-VFQFN package. LVPECL output logic provides the low-jitter, differential signalling needed for high-speed SerDes, FPGA reference clocks, and 10G Ethernet PHY reference inputs — the 0.9V typical swing and 50-ohm back-termination simplify AC-coupling to the receiver.
Supply voltage and temperature fit
Supply range spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering both 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an intermediate LDO — one BOM line serves either rail. If the BOM calls for -40°C operation, this is not the right variant.
20-VFQFN package and board layout
The 20-VFQFN exposed pad package measures 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a 0.90 mm seated height — a compact footprint for dense PCB layouts.
If a cross-reference is needed, the functional equivalent is another MEMS XO in the same package with LVPECL outputs and matching frequency stability.
