Dual-frequency MEMS XO for clock-tree consolidation
The DSC400-0202Q0108KE2 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that delivers two independent LVPECL clock outputs from a single 20-VFQFN package — 167.1875 MHz on output 1 and 173.28125 MHz on output 2, both held to ±25 ppm stability across -20°C to +70°C. A single 2.25V–3.6V supply rail powers both outputs, which means one oscillator replaces two quartz cans and the associated bypass caps on a dense board.
Supply flexibility and enable/disable control
The wide 2.25V–3.6V supply range lets this oscillator run from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an external LDO — useful when the FPGA bank voltage is not a standard 3.3V. An Enable/Disable function on the package lets the system hold the outputs in high-Z during power sequencing or sleep modes, cutting power draw without a separate clock buffer.
20-VFQFN footprint and thermal pad
The 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm body with 0.90 mm height fits under a mezzanine card or behind a connector; the exposed pad on the 20-VFQFN package requires a thermal via array under the pad to keep the MEMS die within its temperature spec during high-airflow environments.
