Dual-output LVPECL timing for high-speed differential clocks
The DSC400-0202Q0108KE1T is a MEMS-based XO from Microchip that generates two independent LVPECL output frequencies — 167.1875 MHz and 173.28125 MHz — from a single 20-VFQFN package. The LVPECL output swing is designed for differential clock distribution to FPGAs, SERDES, or Ethernet PHYs where common-mode noise rejection and tight skew matter.
Runs on a 2.25V to 3.6V supply, covering common 2.5V and 3.3V rails without an extra regulator.
Package footprint and thermal pad layout
Housed in a 20-VFQFN with exposed pad, 5.00mm x 3.20mm body, 0.90mm height. The 0.50mm pitch QFN pads fan out easily on a 4-layer board; two-layer designs can route the outer rows but the centre pad ground connection is tight.
The DSC400 series shares the same base product number, so other frequency variants in the family are pin-compatible if the BOM needs a different output pair.
