MEMS XO with dual LVPECL outputs for timing-critical boards
The DSC400-0202Q0106KI2 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC400 series, delivering two independent LVPECL output frequencies: 153.6 MHz and 155.46875 MHz.
Supply voltage range and enable/disable function
A wide supply range of 2.25V to 3.6V lets the oscillator run from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an extra LDO — one less component on the BOM. The Enable/Disable pin gates both outputs simultaneously, useful for power-sequencing or test-mode isolation without a separate clock buffer.
Package footprint and reflow considerations
The 20-VFQFN with exposed pad (5.00mm x 3.20mm, 0.90mm height) requires a thermal via array under the pad to pull heat into the ground plane — skip the vias and the junction temperature rises 15-20°C above the board temp. Check the MSL before you place it — the exposed pad pulls moisture into the cavity; if the floor life has expired, a 48-hour bake at 125°C is cheaper than a rework call.
No stock-holding claim — sourced per RFQ through independent distribution.
