Three clocks, one package – BOM consolidation angle
The DSC400-0111Q0117KE1 packs three independent LVCMOS clock outputs (16.64 MHz, 33 MHz, 25 MHz) into a single 5.00 × 3.20 mm 20-VFQFN package, replacing three discrete oscillators and freeing board space for other routing.
Supply headroom and temperature envelope
Wide 2.25 V to 3.6 V supply range covers 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator — the internal LDO cleans the supply for the MEMS PLL, so the phase-noise floor stays consistent across the input voltage span. Not qualified for engine bay or outdoor telecom enclosures.
The 0.50 mm pitch perimeter pads require a soldermask-defined pad on the PCB — a standard NSMD (non-solder-mask-defined) footprint risks tombstoning during reflow. Height is 0.90 mm max — low enough to fit under a 1.2 mm keep-out zone on the opposite side of a 1.6 mm PCB, but check the component-side clearance if the enclosure has a metal shield pressed against the board.
The DSC400 series is Microchip’s current MEMS oscillator platform, so supply continuity is expected for the foreseeable future. No stock-holding claim — quoted to order.
