Dual-frequency MEMS oscillator for video and system timing
The DSC400-0103Q0102KI1T is a MEMS-based XO that delivers two independent output frequencies from a single 20-VFQFN package: 148.5 MHz on output 1 and 14.7456 MHz on output 2. Outputs are configurable as LVCMOS or LVDS, letting the same oscillator drive both a video serializer (148.5 MHz is the SMPTE standard for 1080p/3G-SDI) and a system controller or audio clock (14.7456 MHz divides to common audio sample rates).
Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, covering common 2.5V and 3.3V rails without an external LDO — a single part works across multiple board designs with different I/O voltages.
Housed in a 20-VFQFN with exposed pad, measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm and 0.90 mm tall — the exposed pad must be soldered to a ground plane for thermal and electrical contact; a via-in-pad pattern under the pad improves heat transfer. Supplied on tape and reel, compatible with automated pick-and-place assembly for volume production.
