What this dual-output MEMS oscillator delivers
The DSC400-0101Q0082KI2T is a MEMS-based XO that generates two independent LVCMOS clock outputs: 22.5792 MHz and 24.576 MHz from a single 20-VFQFN package. These frequencies are the standard audio and video sample-rate clocks — 22.5792 MHz for 44.1 kHz–based audio, 24.576 MHz for 48 kHz–based audio and HDMI/DisplayPort reference. Having both on one IC saves a second oscillator slot and the associated PCB area.
Package, supply, and rework considerations
Housed in a 20-VFQFN with exposed pad, 5.00 mm × 3.20 mm body, 0.90 mm height. Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, so it runs on a 2.5 V or 3.3 V rail without a regulator. The wide range also absorbs rail ripple from a switching supply as long as the input stays above the minimum.
