Dual-frequency MEMS oscillator for clock-tree consolidation
The DSC2311KL2-R0018T is a MEMS-based XO that outputs two independent CMOS clock frequencies from a single 6-VDFN package: 27 MHz on output 1 and 54 MHz on output 2. A single oscillator replaces two discrete crystal oscillators on the board, saving footprint and BOM line count while keeping the frequency stability at ±25 ppm across the full industrial temperature range.
The supply voltage range of 2.25 V to 3.6 V covers common 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator — the oscillator runs directly from the core or I/O supply.
The 6-VDFN package measures 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a low-profile footprint that fits under shielding cans or in tight card-edge clearance zones. The 0.90 mm height and small body suit space-constrained designs like PCIe add-in cards, SFP modules, or portable instrumentation where vertical clearance is at a premium.
