Dual-output MEMS clock source for mixed-rate logic
The DSC2311KL1-R0021 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that delivers two independent CMOS clock outputs from a single resonator: 25 MHz on Output 1 and 50 MHz on Output 2. This eliminates a second oscillator can when a design needs both frequencies for separate clock domains — a microcontroller core at 25 MHz and a peripheral bus or Ethernet PHY at 50 MHz, for instance. The ±50 ppm frequency stability holds the clock edge within 2 ns of the ideal period across the full -40°C to 105°C range, which keeps the setup-and-hold margin for a 50 MHz synchronous interface without a separate temperature-compensation circuit.
Supply-rail flexibility and disable function
The 2.25V to 3.6V supply range lets the oscillator run directly from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail — no LDO needed between the rail and the VDD pin.
Active production and package footprint
The 6-VDFN package (2.50 mm x 2.00 mm, 0.90 mm height) is a low-profile, small-footprint option for space-constrained boards; the 0.50 mm pitch pads require a controlled solder-paste stencil to avoid bridging.
