Dual-output MEMS oscillator in a 6-VDFN footprint

The DSC2311KI2-R0060T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip that generates two independent CMOS clock outputs from a single 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50mm x 2.00mm with a height of 0.90mm. Output 1 is 22.1184MHz and Output 2 is 9.998729MHz, covering common serial and USB interface rates without an external PLL.

Runs from 2.25V to 3.6V, so the same part works on 2.5V, 3.0V, or 3.3V rails — no separate LDO needed when the rail voltage drifts. An outdoor IoT gateway or a factory-floor controller that sees 70°C ambient still has 15°C of margin before the upper limit.

Frequency stability and output control

An Enable/Disable function on the pin lets a host processor gate the oscillator outputs for power-down modes, cutting supply current to 23 mA max when disabled.
