Dual 164 MHz MEMS oscillator for industrial clock trees
The DSC2311KI2-R0020 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) delivering two 164 MHz CMOS outputs from a single 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm. The MEMS resonator replaces a quartz crystal, giving faster start-up and better shock/vibration immunity than a traditional oscillator – useful in motor-drive and outdoor telecom enclosures where mechanical stress is present. The Enable/Disable function lets the system logic gate the outputs independently, pulling the disable current to 23 mA max – a power-saving feature for multi-rail boards that idle one clock domain.
Supply voltage and temperature grade for BOM planning
The 2.25V to 3.6V supply range covers 2.5V and 3.3V rails without a separate regulator – one less line item on the BOM. Frequency stability is ±25 ppm across the full temperature and voltage range, tight enough for 100BASE-TX Ethernet and most serial protocols without external tuning components.
