Dual-frequency clock source in a single 6-VDFN
The DSC2311KI2-R0013T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that delivers two independent CMOS clock outputs — 33 MHz on output 1 and 55 MHz on output 2 — from a single 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm. Using a MEMS resonator instead of a quartz crystal, the oscillator starts up deterministically without load-capacitance tuning and tolerates shock and vibration better than a quartz-based part — relevant for portable or industrial equipment subject to mechanical stress. The Enable/Disable function lets the system shut down unused outputs; when disabled, the supply current is clamped at 23 mA max, which keeps the thermal profile low in a dense board layout.
Supply and temperature range for industrial timing trees
The 2.25 V to 3.6 V supply range covers both 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an intermediate regulator — one less part on the BOM for mixed-voltage designs. Frequency stability is ±25 ppm across the full temperature range — tight enough to keep UART baud-rate error below 1% and to maintain MCU clock accuracy for CAN or Ethernet PHY reference.
