Product details

Dual 50 MHz MEMS clock in a 6-VDFN package

The DSC2311KI2-R0011T: This Microchip MEMS XO delivers two independent 50 MHz CMOS clock outputs from a single 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a low 0.90 mm height — a space-saving alternative to two discrete crystal oscillators on the same BOM line. The enable/disable function lets firmware gate the second output to save power in sleep modes, drawing up to 23 mA when disabled.

Runs from 2.25 V to 3.6 V — the same rail that powers a 2.5 V or 3.3 V FPGA bank or MCU I/O domain works without a separate regulator. Frequency stability is held to ±25 ppm across that range, keeping the clock edges tight for 50 MHz synchronous interfaces.

Supplied in tape-and-reel (TR) for automated pick-and-place assembly.

Frequently asked questions

Does DSC2311KI2-R0011T have an enable/disable function?

Yes, the enable/disable function is listed as a standard feature. When disabled, the maximum supply current drops to 23 mA.

Can I use DSC2311KI2 with a 2.5 V supply?

Yes, the voltage supply range is 2.25 V to 3.6 V, so a 2.5 V rail is within specification.
