The DSC2311KI2-R0006 is a MEMS-based XO (standard oscillator) that outputs two fixed frequencies — 12 MHz on output 1 and 20 MHz on output 2 — from a single 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm. Unlike a quartz crystal oscillator, the MEMS resonator is less sensitive to shock and vibration, and the dual-frequency output saves a second oscillator footprint on the board.
